The Butler Foundation Board of Directors is excited to welcome Dr. Mandi Hursh, Chevis Rebstock, and Phillip Solorio, to the board! The Foundation Board of Directors meets quarterly and governs the operations and investments of the Foundation. Board members serve three-year terms and represent the communities surrounding Butler Community College.
Dr. Mandi Hursh
Dr. Hursh is a Wellington, KS native who attended Kansas State University before receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN in 2008.
Professionally, Dr. Hursh is an active member of the American and Kansas Optometric Associations, Wichita Optometric Society, and Leadership KOA class. She also serves the El Dorado community through the Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, & El Dorado Charities Auxiliary.
She and her husband, Ryan, have two children. They enjoy going to various sporting activities, and Dr. Hursh has participated with Team in Training to help raise over $10,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Chevis Rebstock
Chevis is originally from El Dorado and graduated from Butler in 2007. After college, he worked on the team that set up all of the new Cabela's stores. Chevis has lived and worked all over the US and is now working as a General Contractor specializing in high-end design build energy efficient homes and run a rental property management company on the side.
Phillip Solorio '12
Phillip is a life long resident of El Dorado. He graduated from El Dorado High School and Butler Community College before earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Wichita State University in 2012.
Prior to joining the Sundgren Realty team, Phillip spent nine years in the Information Services Division at Butler Community College. In July of 2015 he became licensed to sell real estate in the state of Kansas and looks forward to helping El Dorado and surrounding communities grow and thrive. He plans to use his vast technical knowledge to improve the way Sundgren Realty advertises and promotes real estate, ensuring that both buyers and sellers have the best possible experience. In June of 2016 he attended Missouri Auction School. Phillip’s annual sales continue to increase and topped $5,000,000 in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and $10,000,000 in 2023 earning him the Master’s Circle Award from Realtors of South Central Kansas.
Phillip attends NewSpring Church in Wichita. He resides in El Dorado with his wife, Kylie, and their children, Olive Ruth, Clementine Grace, Pepper Ana and Rye James.
