Q: What originally brought you to Butler Community College?
A: One of my post-high school employers told me, “If you’re going to school, I have a job for you. Otherwise, I don’t need you!”
Q: Is there a faculty member, mentor, class, or experience at Butler that had a lasting impact on you?
A: Ed Walborn, American History - He reenacted Teddy Roosevelt’s call in Cuba, “Charge.” He then stepped onto the desk and leaped forward.
Q: What are you doing today, and how did your time at Butler help shape your path?
A: Managing rentals and caring for my home. Forty-one years of teaching and additional classes brought me to understand and appreciate working hard to achieve accomplishments.
Q: What does being a Butler alum mean to you?
A: Pride in local community and recognition by state & national professional organizations.
